Mustang Warbird Flights
The current syndicate of 11 aviators and enthusiasts are highly motivated to continue the work started in 1995 by the the original founders.
The aircraft is an authentic Mustang with a high specification Packard built V-12, 27 Litre, supercharged Merlin re-manufactured by Roush of Detroit , Michigan .The aircraft is in 82 Sqd markings from the occupation of Japan and the Korean war.
It has been meticulously rebuilt with the base airframe of #110 of 200 Australian built Mustangs, featuring a rare full dual control backseat.
We offer the aircraft for display and joyflights for those who have a "bucket list" which includes the genuine experience of a 1490 HP assault on the senses. The aircraft is a true WW2 aviation icon which is the centerpiece of the Caboolture Warbird Museum and operates regularly conducting joyflights as well as supporting local war service commemorations such as ANZAC day.
The syndicate is not for profit and all revenue generated is put back into the aircraft to reduce the costs incurred in the operation and ensure it is preserved into the future.
